I thought that I had posted this yesterday when I first heard the news so if the original does appear after a delay apologies.
I heard yesterday that Walter Becker, half of the 'core' of Steely Dan has passed away. It's only my opinion but I think that not only have we lost half of one of the greatest bands of all time but also a co-writer of one of the greatest albums of all time - Check out 'Aja' if you have not heard it and raise a glass.
