Hi, I'm organising a cycle trip in Puglia in September. We are thinking of staying at two or three centres, hiring bikes and doing 50-80 km day rides. We would prefer hybrid or light touring bikes - but would consider lightweight bikes too.
I've found the following hire sites on-line
Southern Visions http://www.southernvisionstravel.com
Ontranto http://www.otrantoinforma.it/noleggiomoto.html
Veloce http://www.rentalbikeitaly.com/2011/11/ ... nt_17.html
Cycle Hire Puglia https://www.cycleclassictours.com/road- ... re-puglia/
Bikes in Lecce-Salento https://www.cctbikerentals.com/order/pu ... ce-salento
Bike Rental Plus https://www.cycleeurope.com/self-guided ... boot-heel/
Has anyone had experience of these (good or bad) - or any others that they would recommend?
Thanks Kirby

Can't help on the shops but have a great trip. I was in Puglia last year, it's stark and lost in time, reminds me of the Algarve 50 years ago! Relatively flat, it shouldnt tax your legs too much.'Performance analysis and Froome not being clean was a media driven story. I haven’t heard one guy in the peloton say a negative thing about Froome, and I haven’t heard a single person in the peloton suggest Froome isn’t clean.' TSP0
