Garmin 'create a course' elevation??

Hi folks. creating some courses in garmin connect and want to see my total elevation gain, seems it wont give me that info. It will show me the elevation map at the bottom but cannot find it in figures anywhere. Can anyone shed any light on this?

From recollection it won't do it. Use Ride with gps instead.
