Going to woburn centre parcs at the end of the month and looking for somewhere to ride. I have seen the local Woburn woods / trails but was looking for more facilities if possible. Any suggestions within say 45 minutes. Cheers.

What sort of riding are you looking for? Woburn is probably the best place to ride in that area. Otherwise there is Aston Hill, Chicksands and the Chilterns which covers all riding styles

Mainly xc or red trail centre stuff. Ideally easy to follow as not from the area and don't want getting lost.

I do quite a bit around the Chilterns (based in Berkhamsted). This is mainly XC around Ashridge, Ivinghoe, Wendover Woods etc. Aston Hill is great - 4 downhill tracks (about 1-2 mins long each with a walk/ride back up to the top), and a XC course (http://astonhillbikepark.co.uk/).

We usually do a weekend ride of 15-25 miles so you're welcome to join us if you fancy? Nice coffee & cakes up in Wendover Woods :)

Sadly it's a wkday break so will be back home for the wkend. I looked at Aston but was looking for something a bit longer. May have to bite the bullet and go a do circuits on the XC course or just take my road bike and go off on that. Other option is take my cx bike and explore. Thanks for the offer though.

No worries fella. I work at home so quite often do a cheeky midweek ride if it's not lashing down.

Gimme a shout if you get stuck for ideas.

    Cheers
