Hello, can anyone advise me of a decent cycling passage that I can cross to get from France to Spain over the Pyrenees please? I will be on the French side, just East of Andorra, but prefer to ride along the french side for around 200km+ before I cross. I want to end up riding just south/under Pamplona. There appear to be tunnels when I Google and Strava my route.I need help here I think to find a cycle friendly way across.
many thanks

D934 from Laruns, via col du Portalet would be my choice

Of course to go from east of Andorra (Aix les thermes?) to Laruns you can do Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet and Aubisque... :-)

D26 Port de Larrau. There is a small tunnels and cycling is allowed. Very beautiful and remote, bring your own baguette.
Definitely not the N134 Col de Somport, very busy road.

If you are at Ax avoid the N20, one of the most dangerous roads in France. After Tarascon you have a world of choice.

If I was doing this (wish I was) is the way I would go

If you use Portalet it's difficult to avoid busy roads after.

Another seconder for the Portalet, much further west is the N 135 over the Alto de Ibaneta which will take you directly to Pamplona and which is quiet too.

From Andorra, ride all the Pyrenees on the french side (from Ax les Thermes, Col de Porte/Peyresourde/Aspin/Tourmalet/Aubisque/Marie Blanque/Osquich and Ispeguy), the top of the last col (Ispeguy) is the border and from there you are 85km away from Pamplona.
