Garmin 1000.Blue tooth heart rate strap.

Hi all can anyone recommend me a Blue tooth heart rate strap that is compatible with a Garmin 1000 and one that can also be used with a BKOOL turbo trainer.

    Nope, because the Edge 1000 requires an ANT+ HRM

    Garmin hrm are ant+ only. There are a few like wahoo that are both ant+ and bluetooth. These can be used with an iphone

    Bluetooth connection only supports the transfer of data to the phone (including notifications and Garmin LiveTrack) not sensors which must be ANT+ capable (they may have Bluetooth too, but the Edge like all Garmins apart from the latest Fēnix 5/5s/5x only support ANT+ sensors)

    You can still use the hrm to talk to both the garmin and the BKool. It will transmit on both frequencies simultaneously and as its a passive signal on the other devices it wont interfere

    So just to clear things up.
    The wahoo HRM will work fine with the Garmin 1000 iPad or iPhone and also the BKOOL PRO turbo?
