Going to discuss complex historical roof construction with a rappel expert (didn't it used to be called abseiling?) in Portuguese, he has a 'northern ' accent too, what could possibly go wrong? :D

not quite my weekend, but I am escaping the office shortly and off down to Brizzle to teach some people about oil, not very exciting. Pub tonight and a day off tomorrow to look forward to, unfortunately got to come in here on Friday.
    Onwards, to the M4...

    Ciao,

Computers still down, rest of office heading out to do some stuff in funny green clothes, as it's hissing down I think I'll go to the gym then chill in the warm.

Any suggestions for things to watch? Cycling related preferably.

    Ciao

Got a half day holiday to recover, unpack and retrieve the hound. Then I need to do some emails but will do it from home to soften he blow of work before things inevitably go a bit mad tomorrow.

Thank you but I don't think I could immediately plunge back into a normal job. Not only would I have to do some work but it would be strange to have to not tell people how lazy and stupid they are using direct terminology.....

Been out on site all morning which was good, back in the office now to take advantage of the internet which is a scarce resource at home at the moment. Had an evening off unpacking yesterday but back on it tonight, the bloke from Everest is meant to be coming round to give us a quote for two new doors as if my wallet wasn't light enough as it is. We have no choice as we need them for insurance, and to stop the windchime in the kitchen ringing despite having the door closed...

An hour cycling around some stoopid island in the solomon islands 500 miles off the north east coast of australia. Then off to boscastle farm shop for a late valentine meal with missus. Some unexpected time spent fuming in the car while swmbo does some retail therapy in bude. Just made it back for algarve/ andalucia. Leg up for the rest of the evening. Happy days...

Too many times. The whole point I try to get across to them is that it's a lot simpler than people make out, no need to baffle with bullsh!t. This one was easy, in and out in an hour.
Pub is being followed by curry later, better tell the Mrs to sleep in her gas mask again.

I was talking culturally at her best. Should have been more specific though.
