I'm after a Hatdtail up to the £1,000 mark. 27.5/650b so the Bizango is a no go I'm afraid. Gerneral riding with the odd forest trail on a weekends. Any good deals out there at the moment?
Thanks
Thanks

What (to you) is a forest trail?
An excellent XC biased hardtail for the money

Thanks! Trails would be Hamsterly Forest / Kielder Forest trails. I was looking at these 2, any good?

The Trott MTB are Halfords is easily as good as either and circa £400.
I'm not familiar enough with either to know whether a trail or XC bike is more relevant.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Except you could build a better bike cheaper using the frames and parts from a Trott!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Like Rookie wrote, the Trott is a no-brainer if one fits, replace the saddle and if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, upgrade it with some nice wheels!================

Just wanted to add in the Calibre Bossnut from go outdoors. I know you have stated a hardtail and that might be because you are wanting better quality items for your money which a hardtail will give. However the calibre bossnut is very well spec'ed and a great bike. rides really well actually I was surprised.
Also you get the advantage of have full sus. Just an option to consider.0
