Hi

I'm looking at the giant tcx sl1 2 which was at the top end of my budget but then I saw the slr 1 which is £200 more. I'll be using the bike for mainly road/bike trails so won't actually be doing cyclocross events but does any have any opinions on whether I should find the extra £200? Is there much of a difference between the 1 and 2 and would it be one of those things where I regret getting the 2 if I don't find the money?

Cheers

2017 model? The SLR1 has a SRAM 1x11 groupset and is 1kg lighter vs the SLR2 which has a traditional 2x10 Shimano setup. Its probably worth £200 extra, but the single front chainring might be limiting if your intending to use on road a lot.
