Hi!
I have a CUBE LTD Pro (2016),and I am very satisfied with this bike, except brakes which are Magura MT2. In short, It look like this brake have no enough braking power to stop me enough quickly, especially on downhill parts of ride. So, I want replace MT2 with SLX (m700), but have no experience with this brakes, so I am not sure is that reasonable upgrade? Most of the time I RIDE xc, and have 95 kg.
Maybe SLX brakes with XT IceTech rotors?
Thanks for comments:)

Why not just fix your MT2, they aren't the most powerful brakes but it sounds like yours are contaminated to be that bad as they should certainly be able to get you to the limit of tyre grip.
For XC riding you most certainly don't need icetech!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

The Mt2 should have more than enough power to lock a back wheel or put it up on the front wheel, if they can't there is something else up and contamination is most likely.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
