2001 Bianchi mega pro xl

Hi, i have been offered the above bike with full capmagnolo Record groupset for what i think is a bargain £250. They are no obvious issues with the bike, seller just moving aboriad and wants quick sale. I'm only going be using it for commuting and days out, is this a good deal ? I know its almost 16 years old, but should that put me off?
