Looking for chainset/BB advice

Hi,
I have an old GT Arrowhead 98' that I am currently getting back on the road and I need to purchase a new chainset and new BB, money is pretty tight as I just need the bike up and running again.
Could anyone recommend a BB and Chainset that is relatively cheap, 8/9 spd and would fit a frame with a shell width of 73mm? Everytime I find a chainset I like it requires a BB with length of 122.5 but I can only find BB with shell width of 68mm that go up that high not 73mm.

Depends what relatively cheap is.
A Shimano Deore HTII comes with a BB at around £50.I don't do smileys.
