New to this forum!

I've just started cycling this summer and was looking into getting a smart bike trainer for the upcoming Winter season. I'd like for it to be compatible with the latest Zwift. Can anyone guide me into the best quality-price ratio? Definitely not looking into spending $2000 and am open to buying used.

Thank you!

  • Hello!
I have a basic table of the current main models here:

There's two main types, wheel on and wheel off. Wheel off tend to be quieter and less prone to slippage and the likes, but are more expensive than wheel on trainers.

Personally I would say either go bottom end as in Tacx Flow or Vortex which are very capable trainers, or go all out and get a Tacx Flux / Neo or Wahoo Kickr! Going for something inbetween will leave you disappointed because it's not as good as you'd hoped for the money.
