Hey all, newbie here so please be gentle. Looking to buy my first hardtail MTB and have my heart set on the norco storm 7.1 (in my favourite colour orange), I have up to £500 to spend but wanted your thoughts on this bike as I can't find any reviews on it, any opinions would be really appreciated, look forward to hearing from you

It's not too bad at £400, decent drivetrain, but the fork is not the best - performance varies and are very heavy.

For £50 more you can get the 13 Incline Alpha (and maybe 10% off with British Cycling membership:

Very good fork for this money with the air spring and rebound adjustment, top quality frame and good parts too.

The 13 incline Alpha is a very good bike, I bought one and with all the discounts knocking around, it cost me around £350

I've got the bug and now looking for a full suspension bike

I was thinking of upgrading the fork at a later date, also I was about to order the bike online and my size wasn't available :( poor me

But... I really love the look of this bike

I've heard nothing but good things about the 13, I would also consider the voodoo hoodoo

Niceeeeeeee, how did you manage to get all those discounts? I wish I could see past the looks of the 13 alpha (maybe I'm superficial)

What bike you looking to get next?
