Fox Float RL O ring split , how to replace?

Hi all ,
Thought id give my fox float rl rear shock a service with a rebuild kit , only to find that this small o ring that sits on the shaft has split in half , bit of a bummer as it does'nt come in the kit that they provide .
Question is , is it possible to replace it ? All of the videos and demo's for a service don't show this o ring being replaced.
I wondered if its possible to to unscrew the lower section (think this does the rebound) , and if so whats inside etc etc .
Any advice much appreciated .
