Rockshox Pike RCT3 question

Anyone ride a Rockshox Pike RCT3 fork?

I'm looking at purchasing this fork in the 130mm Solo Air version.

I have a question specifically about the lockout mode.

When you move the dial to lockout, does it drop the fork height as well? Or does it say at the normal "sagged" height?

On my DT Swiss fork, the lockout mode not only locks out the fork but when the fork drops it stays there. Makes climbing easier and the front end is lower.

Looking at ordering one soon.

its not a lock out, it just increases the slow speed compression so you still get sag

No it doesn't drop and as above, it doesn't fully lock.
A full lock is extremely rare because it's unnecessary, more likely to be damaged if you forget to turn it off and full lock reduces front wheel grip.
Modern bikes don't really need reduced travel, it was a compromise on older bikes with less good geometry. Even 160mm travel enduro bikes climb well now and forks are so good that a pedal platform is not really needed anymore but is more a sales feature for people who are used to them. I have never used the climb mode on my Pike and never found that it bobs noticeably.
