Grand Tour season is finally here.

Stage 1 Apeldoorn to Apeldoorn 9.8 km Individual Time Trial

Friday 6th May - First Rider 1345 local

Route doesn't look that bad - roads look ok, and nice and wide at turns as long as the barriering (this is not a word) is sensible. Dunno about the road furniture which tends to be a bit of a bête noire with high speed tt-ing in the Netherlands.

    So they're off. 20 riders finished with a best time of 11.28 for Hofland (Jumbo).

    Guesses for best time? I'll start with a random 10:38

    According to Hatch, Roglic has never won a time trial.
    To do that in a GT is some improvement.
