[Landa's] TT position has been checked at velodrome of Mallorca during training camp this winter.

Find me a Pro-Tour rider who hasn't had that.

Most of them. Sky only do the full testing (CFD + track testing) for the GC riders and TT specialists.

I doubt Landa did much at Euskaltel or as a climbing specialist at Astana.

Doing full works five star testing takes a lot of time and man power. They can't do all their riders. This year Sky only tested Thomas, Kwiatkowski and Landa. None of the other new signings.

    Kruiswijk testing on the track.

Mollema testing his new TT rig on the track (rather than in the deciding TT in the Tour..)

More stuff from Trek - they even had their climber and non GT threat Frank Schleck get in on it.

I wish I got to do cfd for a pro cyclist instead of an oil company burning down their own property by accident.

I'm not saying nobody does it. I certainly knew Trek did it. Bardet on the other hand paid for wind tunnel time out of his own pocket. When some teams have moved on from that.

Really? AG2R were using a wind tunnel for their top riders as far back as 2012.

Any Italian speakers who can tell me why it is called Garibaldi Affiancate? Affiancate apparently means side-by-side and I know who Garibaldi was - but seems a strange name for a roadbook

A picture of Garibaldi was on the cover of the road book for Italy's centenary year (1960ish) and it got called The Garibaldi and the nickname stuck

Anyone fancy a flutter on Hugo Houle to win?

Seen odds for him at 245,075/1.

Surprised that Pinot isn't on the (current) start list:

Do those delusional Frenchies really think he has a chance in the TdF?

Hey,do not laugh at my countryman. 2015 Canadian champion and gold medalist Pan American Games 2015 in TT. Not necessarily easy for a Canadian to access a WorldTour team. It was not supposed to do the Giro. Hugo sought advice from Jean Claude Péraud for its preparation for Rio. Péraud responded: do the Giro again with me. For years to come, Cycling Canada is investing in track racing now.

BR Pro Race Man For a GT is the greatest honour in cycling.
He will be feted in ever spoiler thread, his every pedal stroke elevated, he will have his own thread and hell there may even be a klaxon if he's spotted on the TV.

After all, put £4 on him, and you'd cheer him on - he could make you a millionaire!

When I said "place that quote" I meant "Be able to tell me where it was from"

Are you that desperate for goat bucks? They're only redeemable at 3 bars in Gent.
