best road bike £300? (size small)

I'm after a road bike for my daughter (14 yr old, 5'3" but growing fast).
Ideally I'd like to keep the price as low as possible.
Looking around I can see btwin 500SE , Merlin PR7, Mekk Pinerolo SE 0.1
I have looked on ebay but tbh I'm not seeing anything that seems terribly good value and I suspect that the options above would make more sense.
The btwin and PR7 have good reviews, but I cant find any reviews for the Mekk.
Anyone got other suggestions?

At this age riders grow fast. This means that there are lots of good bikes being "grown out of". Are you in a local club, or if you aren't then I'd make contact and ask if anyone knows of anything suitable. For the money you might find a bargain.0
