XT rear only

My rear shifting on sram x7 10 speed is starting to get clunky. I run 2 x 10, and am looking at changing the rear shifter pod, rear mech, rear cassette and chain to XT 10 speed.

I don't want to change the chainset or front shifting as it works very well, also SRAM x7.

My understanding is this will work fine is that right ?

    Yeah you can use the same front kit and just change the rear out.

    To save you some money, you tried a new gear cable or you sure the mech is worn out.

    Thanks for confirming. Yes i am sure it is failing and was thinking if an upgrade anyway to be honest.
