Cycling around Munich

I'm in Munich for business in May and have half a day available for cycling. Any advice on routes and bike hire would be greatly appreciated.

I hired a bike a few years ago and had a look around the city. The only things I can remember was having to haggle with the guy to put air in the tyres and visiting the Olympic park which is still there but a bit run down and slightly weird. Looking at the website below it looks like they have done it up a bit since then.

You can just Hire or go on their guided city ride..3-4 hours which incs the bike hire.Lots of cities do this style.Been on many and they are a great taster before doing some DIY..Easy peesy but lots of stopping and a lot of tourist guide spiel...but dozens go on them
