What stem and bar should i go with?

Does it make a difference? Bar and stem are down to personal preference and are not bike specific.

Well yeah is does. Silly to put super lightweight and flexey stuff on a dh rig. But size wise, I'd agree

DH bike, not rig. Why do people call them rigs? It's a bicycle.

It illudes to more than just a minimalist xc bike and has more 'rigging' and I'm not talking about wc dh bikes

In several years of downhill riding and racing I have never heard a rider call their bike a rig. Occasionally a push iron but never rig.

That's perhap because you have eyes. In text it helps to create images in reader's minds

I think most people know what a downhill bike is. It's just like any other bike but heavier.

Kalloy Uno stem with Ti bolt kit and Chinese lightweight carbon bars........even if its for a rig and not a bike!

I just went from a 90mm stem on 720mm bars to 60mm and it transformed the bike into a different beast. Its a Cube LTD SL 2015 and now its twice as fun to ride now. Definitely feels a bit more twitchy on the front when pedaling hard at first but its just a case of getting used to it, when turning there is allot more feel and I can change direction quicker so I am happy with it.
