Noise when using brakes

Hi all,
I seem to have an issue when using the rear brakes that I just can't seem to get to the bottom of...
Whenever the brakes are applied even ever so slightly at any speed, there is a horrible sound which seems to travel up through the frame and amplifies it.
Its not the usual brake squeal associated with new pads more of a metal sound. I'll get a clip uploaded if possible.
I've tried new pads, new brakes. swapped the wheel so its not the hub or rotor as its still the same sound.
Checked the tightness of all screws and I'm still scratching my head.
Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks
Chris

Make and model of brakes and bike?
A better description of the noise is key!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
The bike is a Genesis core 10(2008) with Shimano M485 brakes.
I suppose a creaking door might explain the sound the best?
I have uploaded a clip and this is just me sat on the bike rolling the wheels and applying the brakes.

check to see if the pistons in the caliber are evenly sticking out, that the caliber and disc are lined up correctly. a lot of noise is caused by these factors not being lined up well. Check all of your bolts also0

Tried a couple of new links, hopefully one of these should work.
