I jumped one off some low steps once and landed back in the saddle. Unfortunately the foam had broken away from the back of the saddle leaving just the upturned metal the rear of the saddle and I hit my coccyx on it. Even writing this 30 odd years later it's making me cross my legs as I think of the memory of the pain :shock:0

hI had a mate who had one. I followed him one day as he went hell for leather down a path and the brakes failed and so did the soles of his Dr Martens. He hit the side of this car, rolled over the bonnet on to the ground and picked himself up very unscathed considering the impact. Suffice to say the lady ageing driver sat in her car totally shocked but slightly relieved at the outcome.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Any person who is very well off, has anything to do with oil or premiership football, who is approx 47 years of age and male or a tom boy and provided you did not like Choppers then you may be interested in this bike.
All original parts, repainted and re chromed. Sold as seen. will deliver anywhere in the UK in person with a box of Roses chocolates free of charge. Call me sad, I do not have a lot of money but I will not let it go for less than 25k as memories are expensive to buy. I got a bike the same as this for Christmas when I was 11 in the seventy and when I got it I cried due to being so happy as I did not think my parents could afford it.( Price new in the 70s was £80.00 ish ) PS Hopefully this bike will make me cry again when 25k goes in my bank account, LOL

I'm sure he's not serious, but it's not even funny. I've seen genuinely funny Fleabay listings, that isn't one of them. So what is the point? He clearly doesn't expect to sell at anything like that price. Is he tying to artificially inflate the price for when he does come to sell? Can't see that working. Is he hoping someone will make an offer? Nobody is going to offer thousands for that, hundreds perhaps. Starting so high is just daft if he has any intention to sell. So he must be a nutter, though probably a harmless one.Not sure he's serious.0 -
