Fryday on a Thursday

I decided a 3 day weekend is not enough so I'm taking tomorrow off as well. I have a choice of many exciting things I could do. Actually that's a complete lie, most of them are not that exciting. I might go out for lunch with the Mrs though. Managed to wobble into work today, thankfully the rain held off until after I got here.
Much excitement at work just now, one of the girls that works in accounts has had a bee in her bonnet about someone using our bike rack that doesn't work here. She has now got a picture of the guy from the CCTV and is sticking it on his bike with a note telling him not to leave it there. The bike rack is rarely full so it's not really an issue, personally I couldn't be arsed to do anything. The better way to handle it might be to tell him how his company can get free bike racks from the council, which I did for this place.
Roll on the long weekend, woohoo!

Some people just like to get annoyed at things, generally means they have other problems in life to avoid.
Hoping the insurance company will call me up later to sort my phone. Also trying to work out how to fix the pads on my mates avid elixir brakes (boardman mtb) doesn't seem as simple as it should be and may require it on the stand rather than the trail.
Enjoy the 4 day weekend mate.0 -
Morning Noork supports.
Is it me or has the M6 become the Northern equivalent of the M25 car park?
Pi$$ing down here and I have to go to work?! Do I have to? Must I? Shall I have another coffee... silly question.

Short week here too 8)
Long way in this morning(40 odd miles),will finish around 12:00 and then another long ride home via some Suffolk lumps to make up 100 for the day.
Might call at the posh offy in Ely for a couple of bottles of Kwak(and an Aspalls for the other half) or the 'trose for some St Stefanus.Ridley Helium SL (Dura-Ace/Wheelsmith Aero-dimpled 45 wheels)

A coolish pre breakfast ride and a way off my PB....work continues with a break for hot sandwich's and thoughts drift towards a splendid meal later of gammon, eggs and chips......mmmmmmmm.“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”

checked the weather last night, looked like i'd be ok on my way in so took the mud guards off, bad idea! still windy as hell outside here in the midlands which is what I am blaming for my slow cycle in!
other than that meetings and things are making today go fairly quickly which is a bonus!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Decent 6 mile run hurt like hell due to the hills here, since then its been a nice family bike ride to a river for the kids to play - as they are tiring themselves out I anticipate a slow and moaning ride home
Later is a swim, beer then BBQ0 -
Wahey. Bagged a couple of sneaky pints after work and chatted to a couple of fit lawyers in the pub. Tomorrow is Friday and pedalling day. Not bad."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
