The finishing straight looked pretty narrow just now on Rai.

    Is Contador on twitter?

I'm sure if his biggest fan in the world asked him to do something about his shoes then he would change them instantly.

They do make him look like a n00b, which he certainly isn't.

They look particularly bad with the yellow dials and the yellow socks.

Hot day too (unlike here) which maybe puts you in a less aggressive mood....

It's a good day to get some work done (even though its a bank holiday here).

I'm enjoying "the sky sports years" here in Turkey despite my pleadings to switch to eurosport. Anything happening of note ?

Contador's shoes aside, which i concur are absolutely unforgiveable.

Break has 1 min 23 with 19 kms to go. GC riders have their teams racing to the 3km mark. Nothing of note.

I think false echelons alarms should be bannable offenses.

You can't be too safe though. This was just a 4.7 on the echescale but could - under slightly different circumstances - have turned ugly!

You guys need to take responsibility for the panic to find a screen showing the race that such an alarm can create!
