One of my favourite short stage races, always very selective, nearly always with some exciting racing.

178km today from Dunkerque to Orchies, with some pave sections. Echelons, attacks, wind, cobbles. Coquard takes his first win this year from a 3 man group.

Top 10:
1 * Bryan COQUARD TEAM EUROPCAR les 178,7 km en 4h16'34''
2 * Edward THEUNS TOPSPORT VLAANDEREN - BALOISE 00:00

I do love a messy sprint. *Think* Coquard got that.

Break of 3 allowed to take the win today, despite a late chase by Cult Energy. Alexis Gougeard just outsprints a rapidly closing Julien Antomarchi.

Another absolutely cracking stage today. Strong winds and an hilly cobbled finishing circuit left Coquard exposed, and he cracked on the final climb, losing 45" and the race lead to Ignatas Konovalovas. Omar Fraile of Caja Rural won after catching and dropping lone leader Maurits Lammertink in the final.
