Windproof non-sweaty gloves?

Ok, Anyone have any recomendations or even no go's regarding some decent winter gloves?

My problem is maybe I have strange circulation or something! And the fact I can tailor my working hours & then get out for a ride & come home as the daylight ends, which also means riding through that mean temperature drop as the sun goes down.

I've spent a while experimenting, with different makes, windproof, liners etc. So far either I put heavy duty gloves on & sometimes it's too mild early on, sweat in the gloves, & freeze later. Otherwise newish Altura windproof gloves, great mostly, then liners as the temp drops, but epic fail a couple of times & could hardly change gear by the end [that blind stabbing at levers thing]. Maybe they aren't truly windproof?

Otherwise windproof fronted tights are great, can't advise purchasing gortex socks enough, for the top half I stick a gilet on, & sometimes a liner under my trusty old winter hat [bald c*nt] & I'm happy as Larry, but so far my windproof gloves & then liners is occaisionally an epic fail. Obviously I can deal with a bit of discomfort, but lack of control is dangerous......

Please share any trials & errors.

Having great success this winter with a pair of Polaris gloves. Think it's these.

Sounds like you don't want liners but lobsters - just pull them on as you feel your fingers getting uncomfortable.

Planet X do a reasonably priced windproof and waterproof glove. If you sweat a bit at times get them a size or two too big and use some silk gloves inside - they're really good at absorbing sweat and help to regulate the temperature,

Been using these for a couple of years now and they are windproof and very breathable - if you search around you may well find them cheaper. If you are looking for warm then its tougher to preserve breathability IME GoreTex is still the best bet.
