The Mrs got me a trip away on the bike in April for Xmas and have seen a few places that do carbon wheel rental, anyone used any of these?

I know it's a bit excessive but why not eh. Would be nice to hit up some good new climbs with a set of Enves or Zipps under me, any recommendations?

Yeah, where are you going? If the Alps etc then I'd recommend not taking a pair of deep section Carbon wheels with you. I regretted taking my Zipps to the Pyrenees on 2013, took Alu (Campag Shamals) instead in 2014. Better for climbing and better braking.

Just enjoy the ride with what you have. Having flashy kit does not make riding more fun.
