Hope pro 2 rear wheel running off centre

I've got a hope pro 2 rear wheel running a Stans Arch rim that is running off centre by about 5mm. Doesn't sound much but in the pivot 429 frame I've just built up that seems to have relatively little tyre clearance to start off with it means that the ardent 2.25's have only about 3-5mm clarance on the chain side of the chain stays. The wheel is running true but it would only take a slight buckle for it to be catching.

I've put the wheel back in the old GT hardtail I originally had it in and it's exactly the same but due there being quite a bit more tyre clearance I hadn't noticed it.

What would be the likely cause? spokes, hub, rim or the way it's been built?

Is this sort of thing the norm or should I be contacting hope? The only snag with the latter is I've had the wheel for about 6 months now, don't have the reciept and only just realised the issue

Bought new or used off a bike that had asymmetric rear stays?

As 5mm is about right for a zero dish wheel.

Or it is just old and needs relishing as the tension has gone from one side.

Bought new about 6 months ago and installed on a GT karakoram with QR's as a tubeless upgrade. Just built up the 429 and converted it to 12mm axle with the hope kit.

I've taken it to the LBS to be checked out for truing/spoke tension, there don't appear to be any issues other than the off centre rim. When I bought it I was unaware of any options on offset/dish????

    Ahhhh not the full story.

So the kit you are fitting. Does it fit both ways around? And are the spacers the same size etc....

Thanks for the response nicklause, yes the kit is definitely fitted the correct way round, spacers are differing sizes, if it isn't fitted correctly the cassette and disk are out of alignment.

Apologies for what may be a silly question. If you fit the spacers so the cassette and disc are out of alignment is the rim in the middle or further out? You can adjust the hi-lo screws and the caliper mounting to make them fit. Or is it so far out the cassette hit the chain stay and I'm talking rubbish?
