Subtle, GB / England cycling tops. Recommend?

I am looking to buy a more "subtle" UK / GB / England cycling top.

Adidas have the contract with British cycling, but I am after something a little less "in yer face" for a ride around the States. Wave the Union Flag, but in an understated way.

Any thoughts greatly received.

The "problem" with white is that age-old issue of simple urban camouflage, as illustrated in the Shuut web image: you have to be super-slim not to look lumpy when wearing white as you'll always look larger in white / light grey, than in say a dark colour.

Ask any England football fan, most of whom seem to be sponsored beer drinkers when wearing white, England tops!

I like that one. Although I think Stella McCartney did something similar before Sugoi's talented artists mentioned in the description?

That Santini Union / Prendas top looks a good design, in the same way that dhb top (with the quite vile luminescent zip) looks like a child's school project!

£85 for the Prendas Jersey and bibs together is a blinding deal, you'd easily pay £60 for twistgel bibs alone.

Damn me for finding and posting the Santini kit, I've just gone and ordered the pair in Medium! :shock:

Not the full kit, personally, but still tempted by the top.

My "problem" is my panniers are Ortleib B&W kit, the bike, dark, bar bag is black, rear: tent dry bag is black - I do like mono chrome.

That said, that top is still looking Good.

Just FYI the Santini kit arrived today - quality of the material and finish is superb, as you would expect.

Bibs were sadly not quite right for me in medium, little bit loose, so no go and they don't have small in stock.

The jersey in medium was VERY small, i could put it on, but it was like a skim suit, and I think would have been too short at the front.

I normally wear a small in Mavic (My preferred make) and expect a large would have been ok in this jersey - I am around a 38" chest.
