Mixing ultegra/105/Tiagra

My damaged Tiagra 4600 FD needs replacing. Can I fit an Ultegra FD instead with a view to eventually replacing all parts with Ultegra? If so, can I fit the new 11-spd model?
I have a Ribble Sportive 365 which I believe doesn't support internal cabling. Will this be an issue?
