Asking for a friend who has a cycling knee injury and is getting a fit for his upcoming birthday. Can anyone recommend someone near(ish) to Camden/Kentish Town? Obviously a tube or bike ride away is no trouble.

I mentioned Adrian at Cadence, but he said that was too far away.

Ideally with some physio experience as well - also rough prices and what to expect would be a great help

Thanks

  • Was v impressed by Swift Cycles in the city when I was looking for a new bike this time last year. Ended up going to cadence for similar geographical convenience based reasons.

I have no experience of them but Bespoke's web site looks impressive - they are based on Farringdon Road

I friend of a friend runs Swift Cycles, and they are a decent bunch. Very knowledgable, friendly, and really down to earth. Recommended.

I'm pretty sure they run the RETUL bike fit model.

2 min walk from Spittalfields Market / Brick Lane area.

I had mine done at Cyclefit. Was really informative, lasted 3 hours and enjoyed the experience.

  • Only thing about Swift is they don't (or at least didn't) do custom footbeds.

    Le Beau Velo in Shoreditch.

Their fits are done by a team of two. Mal handles the bike setup working alongside Jo, who is a cyclist, trainer, and has a background in sports rehab. So if your mate has or is recovering from an injury then I think their service is particularly relevant.

They sorted out my back issues with a combination of a fit and an exercise program, worked a treat.
