DT Swiss RR1455 on Chain Reaction for £199

Just seen these on CRC and have taken a punt. Interested in people thoughts on them?

    I think Ugo said OK provided you don't weigh anything. And, given the thin braking surface, keep them away from the rain.

    A local lady had a pair and kept breaking spokes... she wanted a rebuild but luckily I found out the rim was also worn and there are no spares available, so I got away with that one... I don't think you will find any mechanic who want to touch those wheels

    I have emailed CRC to hopefully cancel my order before they are shipped.

    Although I am only just the wrong side of 70kg and they wouldn't be out in the rain, I don't relish the idea of not being able to have them repaired if they go wrong. Think I will stick with the RS11s that are on the bike at the moment.

    Failing that, you can return them for a full refund... very easy with CRC. It's not often I would recommend that, but they are really rubbish... no wonder they are prepared to flog them at a loss
