Not 100% sure this is exactly the same as the park tools chain fliud, but will let you know when it arrives.
At £8.99 for the park tools fluid which is 236ml, this is a no-brainer, £12.30 for 10 litres.

Edit : I use a park tools chain cleaning machine/tool.
Anyone else use it or similar stuff ?

Petrol is cheaper still, a better solvent, but is a little flammable!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I haven't cleaned a chain for years. Cheapest. *
Once again I'll extol the virtues of Squirt.
* not 100% true, as I degrease once the factory lube is finished. But strictly speaking, I don't clean chains.I don't do smileys.

I've used virosol since attending an MTB maintenance course and saw it was used there. Good stuff and under a tenner for 5l. Widely used round here.0

Thank you rematt,
Good to see it is known in MTB circles, and thank you for a reply which is actually on topic (I am not interested in who doesn't bother cleaning their chains lol).
It arrived this morning, and a quick splash reveals it is indeed very similar to the Park Tools cleaning fluid - result !
Bargain at the price, £12.30 for 10 litres, should last a few rides0 -
Perhaps you missed the point?I don't do smileys.

Not 100% sure what you mean.
'Squirt' .. is that a product (degreaser or something) ?
If so, then thanks for the advice, I tried to google for it but came up with nothing.
If not, then I have obviously missed the 'point' please explain it to me .....0 -
It's a wax based chain lube. Once used you never have to degrease your chain, as it's not greasy.
Dirt falls off, and what doesn't just hoses off.
Lube is only useful inside the rollers - the stuff on the outside is just a crud magnet. So every time a chain is 'thoroughly' cleaned, it strips all the lube out from where it's needed (and not actually dirty), so you need to get it back inside again.
Which makes no sense to me.I don't do smileys.

Ahhh right, thanks for the follow up.
I couldn't find anything on google, but re-search with wax lube and presto http://www.wiggle.co.uk/squirt-chain-lube/
Not heard of it before, and looks like a popular choice, so may give it a go, thanks0 -
But not just my opinion.

I find it works perfectly in nasty wet conditions as well, just needs applying more often. I just squirt some on the night before.

Wiggle sell it, so blame them.I don't do smileys.

Most of my riding is on both sandy and muddy areas; Woburn, Downs, Chilterns, so will a lube like this be effective? I tend to use Muc-Off wet and Finish Line wet all year round.
