CULT bearings

Hi
I have been looking at some Campag wheelset with the CULT bearings, for not to much more than there steel bearings.
What are the CULT bearings like for there working life?
The wheels won't be used in the wet, unless caught out. I would strip them down once a year with fresh oil/grease, there isn't any extra maintance needed is there?
I see there fairly expansive to replace. And that's my main issue.
Thanks
Luke

Ceramic bearings are used in high speed applications as they can work with less lubricant and offer lower friction. In cycling they are used to save a few grams. They have no other discernible benefit. I suspect the crushing load is significantly lower than that offer by high grade steel.
They might need less attention, but that remains to be seen in the real world. My experience with other ceramic bearings is they last less rather than more
Like for like buy them, if they cost extra I wouldn't botherleft the forum March 20230 -
It is meant to lower riction in the hub but in Campagnolo hubs friction is not exactly a problem anyway. A solution in search of vanity. You can replace the cult bearing with the HB-100 kit with no issues.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
