How old are you?

My apologies if it's been asked before, but a quick search didn't show anything.

I just wondered what's the average age of posters on here.

The age groups look a bit odd but I'm only allowed ten options in the poll and I wanted to have a good spread.

(Edit: BTW, I'm 55)

The older I get, the better I was.

I used to say that I was x years off 40 in the vague hope that people would believe I hadn't reached 40 yet. Now that I'm 46 I have to admit I really don't think it will work any more.

As old as the woman I'm feeling
  • As old as my tongue and a bit older than my teeth.

    34. If you want to know Stevo's age, his birth year is in his username.

He's right, I'm 1,348 years old. But I don't look my age as I've leased my soul to the Devil (more tax efficient than an outright sale).

And two people ticked the '69 plus' box. Has T47 been lying about his age again?

The age bands of 6 years are a bit odd...

    Why 69+

As I said before, I wanted to get an even spread if possible, but I only had 10 poll options.

when i first tried it, it came out as 60+, which these days isn't that old  and I didn't want to lump what could have been a lot of riders together.

  • 41, but my porn star age is 34.

Thank you to everyone who voted.

The distribution is about what I expected, I got the feeling that a lot of us on here were about 'that sort of age', and the result confirmed it.

Do you think it reflects cyclists generally or just this bit of the forums?

You know you've crossed that line when you wake up and find a blue rinse pube stuck in your teeth.

I think we're just old farts :) If you did the same survey over in the MTB section the age distribution would probably be a fair bit lower down the scale.
