Had a look at the winter gloves but even the large size didnt fit my `smallish ` hands. If they fit then they would be a good purchase for a fiver.Passed on the rest though.
Whats the solution? Just pedal faster you baby.

Just got the winter softshell, waterproof socks, and wind proof balaclava. All seem fine. Especially impressed by the jacket, £17!!!

I don't really understand expensive jackets for mountain biking, I know if I spent any serious money I'd fall and rip it during the first ride...

Got the winter jacket (very impressed for £16.99) the Merino base top (a little short in the arms but good for the money) and the compression tights. Pretty much all the stuff the sizing seems a little on the small side. Tried the largest glove and they still felt too restrictive. Shoes looked awful. As did most of the shop. The performance cycling jacket did feel really good but at £30 my budget wouldn't stretch.
Never been in an Aldi before and they do sell some random stuff. It was like cans of beans, biscuits, tat, more tat, a huge axe! WTF

Can't slag them off for the cycling gear but (off topic) what is a small supermarket doing selling a basket full of axes next to bottles of pop!

You have to get the tops off the bottles somehow......
