Shimano 105 5700 10 speed and 5800 11 speed casette

Hi,
I have a Shimano 5700 10 speed on my bike. Can I just change the cassette for the new 105 5800 11 speed cassette or would I have to change the whole groupset?

    You can't just change the cassette. At the very least, you'll need a new front lever and rear derailleur too. The 11-speed cassette is the same width as the 10 speed, so if you just change the cassette, all the indexing will be off. You may need a new rear wheel too. I say may because if the wheel is a 10-speed wheel, you can't put an 11-speed cassette on it. However, if you currently have an 11-speed wheel and a 10-speed cassette and spacer, all you'd need to do as far as the wheel is concerned is remove the spacer.
