Cassette upgrade?
Afternoon all,
Yes another Cassette question ..
I have a Binachi 8 speed road bike with a 12-25 cassette that I feel could do with some more grunt for the hills. Would it be worth changing the rear cassette and if so how would I know what would fit and what size to go for?
The cassette in question is a Shimano brand but I don't have any further information on the GS....
Cheers in advance to all who can help

This 11-30 would probably help you with some lower gears

Your rear mech should be able to cope with the larger sprockets but you may need to lengthen your chain. Best to buy a new chain anyway if you're changing cassettes
Calculate the ideal chain length using this :-
