As does road, I still think it's about right, if you want a guesstimate conversion, but yes, if you're actually walking up the north face of the Eiger than that's a little tougher than road riding through rural Suffolk. There's an assumption that you're comparing vaguely similar terrains.
Can't see Cannock (or indeed any trail centre) being that tough though myself...0
