Has anyone got any experience of cyclist friendly self catering accom in Belgium? A group of us are planning a week around the Tour of Flanders and the Paris-Roubaix next April with some early season training in between. Ideally we are looking for somewhere that would sleep 8-10 with facilities for washing bikes down etc... Any suggestions would be very helpful, we were thinking of basing ourselves nr to or in Ghent. Cheers.

Have a search on airbnb.com - I've used it for holiday apartments all the way across Europe and it's been great. You might struggle more with such a large group though, but it's a place to start!
  • Cheers, I'll give it a go.

A group of soldiers with myself (16 of us) did a route from Germany into Belgium stopping off at liege mons and ypres (coincidently for the tour de france stage) . We stayed in hostels which were accommodating for bikes. Rooms were quite basic but breakfast was available before departure. I will seek out the names of the hostels as they are a branch

I can recommend somewhere in the Ardennes that a friend says is perfect for a cycling holiday but probably a bit far for RVV
