Hello.
I have a question: What is the weight of the Focus Cayo Evo 3.0 2014 and what the weight of the Focus Cayo Evo 4.0 2014? I had been searching that information for a long time, but I didn't find anything !Please, if someone knows about that, answer.Thank you very much.

  • Is this a quiz?

I'd go for 7.3 and 7.1 kg respectively
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Guessing the higher model weighs less.

Why not just test ride them to find out how much you think they weigh?
Weight is more your perception of it IMO.

When I pick my bike up it feels light and I love it.
I only put it on the scales out of curiosity.

It will only feel light if it is light though

I would prefer to say it was 3% lighter

10-15% lighter and you would be cooking with gas :P

20% lighter is better than a whole pack of Vinnies Fox's Bis-Kwit's, mmm mm mmmmmm. Kapish?
  • Why would you want to know? You're not looking to buy a bike based on what it weighs, are you?

As Mr. Hattersley notes, you're unlikely to find the answer to this. Factor in multiple sizes, and the fact that the manufacturer might make changes to the OEM componentry. They generally don't go on about how much it weighs unless it's pointlessly light enough that a weight weenie will be able to buy it and not have to change any part, which has never ever happened ever.

Both hardly light anyway then. Seems you get to pick which kind of sh1tmano you get and the colour. That said, I don't mind the Cayo's styling.
  • my size M evo 3.0 comes in at just under 8kg inc peddles,bottle\garmin mounts i.e. as I'd ride it minus me. Have swapped out bars\stem to Deda zero100, selle italia SLR XP saddle, EC90 inline seatpost and have a 1700g wheelset on with GP4000s, so a bit of weight saving but nothing drastic. Didn't weight it as stock thou as most of the changes were made when I bought it to match a fit geometory, or what I know works for me, had already in the case of bar saddle\wheelset

That's because they say they weighed it with the reflectors and the bell :lol:

  • Bike Radar suggests they're lighter than that:

7.6Kg for a 57cm Evo3 - "as weighed on the Bike Radar Scales."

    7.88Kg for the Large Evo4.
There's warp speed - then there's Storck Speed
