Sram Force 22 GXP BB crank rubbing
I am trying to fit a Force22 chainset with a GXP bottom bracket to a new bike.
The instructions show two small shims, one either side between the cups and the BB, and say to use them on a 68mm BB. When I try to tighten the non drive crank, and then try to turn the cranks, they are VERY stiff - is that right? It looks like the spider (not sure if the correct term) is rubbing against the outer cups. Am I perhaps missing a shim? Am I misunderstanding the instructions and using the two shims when I shouldn't?
Thanks,
Paul.

Answer found - I was reading the MTB instructions! no shims for GXP on road bikes.
