Single speed convertion

Converted my Kona to singlespeed today. Did it on the cheap, so took off all the gear shifters/mechs etc. Found an old mech to use as a chain tensioner, and took off the big ring from my old STX chainset.
Now an lovely hack bike, complete with SKS mudguards and slick tyres.
Might set up the cassette to a single ring at some point, but that will cost money!
I had looked at using a DMR STS kit, but this way works ok and saved £30+
