Can anyone help me tell what Defy this is?

Bit of background, I am a complete novice looking for a new bike. Some one has offered me this but doesn't know what Defy(bought in 2010) it is, can any one tell or tell me how to check once I can personally see the bike. I guess by looking at Shimano 105

cant see the drive train..but could be a Defy 4
shifters look like shimano 2300..
need better pics to identfy the groupset e.t.c

There are usually 2 ways of IDing which defy you've got. Obvious one is to look at the groupset, if it's a defy 1 it will have Shimano 105. The other way is to look at the decal on the chain stays, unless they've changed it from when I bought mine it will tell you which model it is. Otherwise put Defy 2010 into Google and match it against what comes up, they all have different colour scheme so it should be fairly easy.

Scratch that,I did it for you, that paint scheme fits the Defy 4 for that year.
