I suspect that my 8 year old boy has been messing about with my Garmin resulting in the odometer going from 4000+ miles to 21.3 miles.

Does anybody know how I might retrieve my hard earned distance cos it's breaking my heart?

  • I think the most appropriate way would be to tie the Garmin to his wrist, and send him on a 3978.7 mile walk...

However, if that isn't an option, I'm fairly sure the odometer reading is editable.

Menu --> Spanner --> Bike Settings --> Bike Profiles --> Bike Details --> Odometer

I keep a spreadsheet of all my mileage and have the odo set to the current years' total mileage.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
