Hi all,
so I've recently been bitten by the road cycling bug after not really going mtb'ing much any more. My current thoughts are to sell/split my hardtail to fund a cx build for winter training/family rides out.
Am i mad?
Also would i be better off selling as complete, or splitting? Any advice from seasoned buyers and sellers before i decide to post in the classifieds would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

You are not mad. A cyclocross bike is more fun if you have to ride on roads to get to the rough stuff
If you have top of the range components in good nick, splitting makes more money, but if it is a £ 999 hardtail, you are better off selling it as a full bikeleft the forum March 20230 -
I am looking at selling my hardtail, after getting a CX last November, simply because I don't take it our anymore. I ride the same trails on my CX now.
As Ugo says, if it's a half decent hardtail, sell as a whole package.0
