Can I big up a company on here?!

I hope so cos here goes!

Last week I put holes in my brand new Lusso shorts. A bit peeved I started looking at how to repair them and in the end emailed Lusso. I was shocked by their quick reply, stating to just send them in to them and they'd sort them out! So Tuesday they went to Lusso. I got an email from Lusso on Weds to say they had received them. I got another email Thursday saying how they could do the repair most effectively, and the shorts came back yesterday. No charge, just nicely fixed bib shorts! I dare say a major repair may be chargeable.

These shorts were not expensive high end shorts, (but I find them really good, nice fit, nice pad) so I wasn't expecting anything like this, but how wrong I was. Great product, and aftercare service from a UK company is great to see. I will definitely buy from them again.

We'll done Lusso!

  • I bought Lusso Roubaix winter tights 5 years ago. Out of all the tights I've bought for the winter since then, Lusso has always been the tights I go back to. However they're a bit too big now so they'll have to go.

Their shorts got 5/5 in the Road Cycling UK tests not long ago.

The most underrated/over-looked kit out there. Most of my winter kit is Lusso - I can't see the point in paying more.

Bought some of their gel bib shorts a few years ago, i fell in between sizes on their size guide (waist M height L) so e-mailed them for a recommendation. They mailed back and said that they could custom make a pair for me at no extra cost. Now that's customer service !
    SOLITUDE. It's not for everyone.

Looked at the Pro Gel 2 last night - what is the fit like and the all round quality of the fabric/pad?

    Thanks.

The quality is excellent. The fit really depends on how they fit you....

More worried about the pad being a bit big and having a 'ducks arse' at the back :D

I've had a pair of non-bib Lusso shorts for ages, they have been fantastic. Just bought a new pair of Lusso pro gel 2 from Merlin for just under 30 quid, I think they going to be every bit as good as my first pair.

Under £30 from Merlin? I'm on that site and they're £45 for the Gel 2. You got a discount code?

    Edit: Non bib - DOH!
