Looking for cycling groups near Wigan / Bolton / Manchester

Hi,

I'm looking for cycling groups / clubs around the Wigan / Bolton / Manchester area. Usually do weekend rides, ride to work a few times a week also.

Got a few local friends in Westhoughton / Atherton area I occasionally ride with, but looking for more of a regular group.

Try chorley possibly. I cycle to Atherton from over side of Wigan regularly for work. Still looking for the flattest route

A49 to Wigan then a577 to a579 to Atherton. Going there isn't too bad, its the way back up the 49 from Wigan.

I've tried a6 and then down through haigh and up into Standish but emphasis is on up
